Shared Ecologies

Shared ecologies is an arts initiative by the Shyama Foundation to promote reconfiguration of the idea of nature as integral to human society for sustainable futures. The Foundation will, through supporting cultural practices, act from a ground up perspective. It will act collaboratively with all such like-minded initiatives globally, but also specifically in this region.

In creating a brand identity for them, we kept in mind the idea of ecologies that exist symbiotically and natural elements that live in harmony. The logo of the project is inspired from nature, an icon that can be seen as many things- A plucked dandelion spreading it’s spores, a cross section of a tree, a river and it’s tributaries or even a mere snowflake. The visual language takes this form ahead and uses the idea of a shared space in each collateral, where the motif scales up or down to accommodate the other content.
